Description

Primer® L-2K is a two-component aliphatic polyurethane primer specially formulated to provide exceptional adhesion on difficult and demanding substrates.
Its advanced hydrophobic formulation ensures excellent penetration and superior bonding performance while maintaining outstanding UV resistance and long-term durability.
The product has been specifically developed for applications exposed to severe weather conditions, including extremely low temperatures, continuous moisture exposure, UV radiation and thermal stress. Due to its exceptionally high adhesion strength, it is particularly recommended for stamped concrete surfaces where conventional primers often fail to provide sufficient bonding performance.
Primer® L-2K creates an extremely durable bonding layer between the substrate and subsequent coating systems. This significantly improves long-term performance and greatly reduces the risk of delamination.
The product is odorless, solvent-free, environmentally friendly and inhibits fungal and bacterial growth on treated surfaces.

Application Procedure

The substrate must be structurally sound, clean and dry.
Remove all dust, dirt, oil, grease, cement laitance and loose particles from the surface. Where necessary, mechanical surface preparation such as grinding, shot blasting or high-pressure washing is recommended.
Mix Components A and B thoroughly using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Apply the mixed primer evenly using a roller, brush or suitable application equipment at the recommended consumption rate.
For stamped concrete and highly absorbent substrates, ensure complete surface saturation while avoiding ponding.
Allow the primer to fully cure before applying stone carpet systems, resin coatings or protective sealers.
For optimum performance, application should be carried out on dry substrates and under recommended environmental conditions.
